Perals

WARNING: brain-consuming game ahead.

The rules:
You have to draw a line through all the "pearls," and it can't overlap.
You have to go straight through a white pearl, but must make a 90-degree turn on at least one side after doing so.
You must make a 90 degree turn in a black pearl, but must go straight for one full square on either side of it.

I think that's it.

Beware the pearls.

I failed to heed the warning, and now I am paying for it.

Got it.

Oops. I thought I had it right. Actually I didn't get it. The line has to be connected at both ends. Then the smiley face appears (I didn't realize this until doing the super-easy puzzle). I want the smiley face to appear on the hard puzzle. That's tonights prohject.

It's easier once you learn the "rules."

I start by drawing in any line segments that MUST be there - this includes lines parallel to the side in white pearls on the edge, and lines coming out (perpendicular to the edge) of any black pearls within one space of the edge.

Similarly, if you ever have 3 white pearls end-to-end-to-end, the line can't go straight through all three, and it can't bend in the middle, so it must go vertically through those, too.

But I think this is confusing, so I'll illustrate in a new post...

I generally followed the same process, but I didn't notice the rule that the line had to be connected at both ends. I am not looking at your new post until I get it right.
