THE Issue

What is the single, most important moral issue in the world today?

I ask you to comment, so I may see a sample of opinions.

After you do so, feel free to read what someone else thinks it is.

I'd vary on my answer depending on my mood, but it is probably one of: extreme poverty in Sub-Saharan Africa, Slavery (sexual and otherwise), and Hypocrisy among "Christian" leaders (in sacred and secular positions).

I think that moral relativism is the most important moral issue in the world today.

That's a good one, but it's a broad category. Do you mean among everyone, among Christians, among church leaders, or just in general?

I don't see it as a huge problem in the populace - not because it's not an issue for them, but because they don't see which way is up to begin with.

Among church members, however, it can be deadly. That's why hypocritical leaders made my big 3 - because Jesus reserved his harshest words for religious authorities who fattened themselves on God's flock.
